Lockdown Thoughts #2

For many of us lockdown has been proving to be challenging in terms of our mental health. This week is mental health awareness week and I thought it would be good to use this as a reminder that lockdown isn't going to last forever and that there are still things to look forward to/ be grateful for.

It can be hard to remain positive when we feel we are missing out on so much, and these feelings are valid, but there is some comfort in knowing that everyone is going through something similar. While we can't change the fact that we must social distance and that holidays, festivals and other fun summer plans may now not be likely to be happen, we can still try our best to keep going and remember that this is only temporary. It's easier said than done to keep happy and hopeful and it's still okay to have down days or days when you don't want to do anything but lie in bed and put a film on.

This is my Pinterest board which I like to have a look at when I'm feeling a little demotivated or just generally not my best, so maybe it'll be what you need to remind yourself that there are still things to look forward to.
